Dream Valley Ranch Equestrian Center
Victory or "Tori" is Kaitlyn's newest project. After losing our beloved school horse, Keiko, this past fall, Kaitlyn decided to take all of her knowledge from training Keiko to bring along a young thoroughbred in her honor. Tori is sweet, eager to learn and very intuitive. In her fifth year, she is beginning her journey under Kaitlyn and our senior riders, as she teaches them about patience, training and foundational flatwork. Tori is a future DVR allstar schoolie, and it is going to be so fun watching both Kaitlyn and our riders bring her along this year!
Firefly is shared with our students by the Tofflemire family, after their daughter Charlie brought home her first pony this past year. Firefly is the perfect mix of cute and spunky. She was a beautiful frame and is confident over fences or in the dressage ring. She is so talented, making a perfect partner for Charlie as she heads into the show ring this year! We are lucky to have firefly around to teach riders from the novice level up to advanced riders, after all, ponies make some of the best teachers!
"Gypsy-Belle"
"Dream Valley's Victory"
"The Big Easy"
"Beyond Expectations"
Gypsy-Belle is a very special horse on our farm. She taught coach Cassandra to ride many years ago and has been in our family since she was born. She has taught many in our family and was backed by our grandmother, Sandra as a 4 year old. She is now approaching her 26th year and is still full of life! She is known for her quiet and kind nature, dream-like trot and canter, and her many years championing the hunter ring. Gypsy truly is our families pride and joy, she has taught more kids to ride than any other horse in our program, and she is trusted to carry all levels of riders. She is a appendix mare, born 1999.
"Daddy's Last Dollar"
Godiva is a warmblood, thoroughbred mare, entering into her 19th year. Godiva is our highest level dressage horse and is our best dressage teacher. She loves teaching all ages basic concepts such as leg yields, shoulder-ins, half passes, short steps, and pirouettes. Godiva has been with us since she was a 3 year old and through Robin's tireless dedication to her strengthening program, alongside our wonderful dressage coach, Godiva has become a stunning dressage horse, defying everyone's expectations of her. She is the perfect example of the rewards of never giving up on a horse. In her later years of life, she has become a school master at DVR.
Jess is one of our most versatile schoolies, carrying kids around the walk-trot ring as well as schooling high level hunters with our older riders. He enjoys his weekly dressage lessons and has taught many of our riders both the foundations of jumping and dressage. Jess can do it all and it a go to horse for riders to take their first jump on! He is an anglo-arab, gelding, born 2005, and the personal horse of coach Cassandra.
Diesel is a chestnut, quarter horse gelding who has been with us at DVR many years. In his 27th year, he is trusted with our walk-trot-learn to canter riders as he is calm, quiet and eager to please. Diesel has a classic quarter horse gait with a hint of quarter horse stubbornness. He is also a go to camp horse as he is gentle and patient with our beginner campers!
Dream Valley Ranch is a family run business where the horses health and happiness is our first priority. Since the farm was founded in 2008, our family has built the business to include our rider development program that hosts 60+ riders weekly, in-house and public horse shows catering to beginner riders looking to build their skills, full-service outdoor boarding, yearly award banquets for our riders, community building events, summer camps for all ages, care home visits, and various fundraising initiatives. Our goal is to create an environment where riders of all ages learn a horse-first approach while becoming strong, technical riders that are also knowledgeable horse men and women. We are passionate about creating a barn where everyone supports their teammates, and boasts a vibrant community feel. At Dream Valley we celebrate all members of our team; young, old, and those with 4 hooves!
"Runnin' on Diesel"
Brady is a warmblood quarter horse gelding who teaches the intermediate riders, as well as novice adults, in our program. He has retired from jumping, however he excels in the dressage ring and is great at teaching riders to use their seat and leg effectively. He has a can-do personality and a stunning stride when he is packaged by an advanced rider. Brady is frequently used for our adult riders who are learning foundational flatwork such as serpentines, extensions and collections, and leg yields.
Sammi is an appaloosa mare used for all levels of riders in our program. While in her younger years she competed in hunters and events, she has since become a quiet schoolie who is comfortable toting around walk trot riders as they learn to 2-point, or competing in the hunter ring over 2'6 courses. She is loved by many in the barn due to her vibrant coat and smooth sitting trot. Sammi is a staple on our show team! Sammi is owned by long time friend, Sue, who shares her wonderful mare with our riders!
"Thank Goodness it's Friday"
"Sugar 'n' Spice"
Mimi is our resident "walk-trot" pony as she is slow, steady and reliable. She is known for her many breaks to walk during her lessons as she just wants to make sure she isn't going too fast for the little ones! Mimi is a welsh pony mare and she has many years of being a school horse under her belt. She is trusted to carry our youngest riders in their first shows. Mimi belongs to Rosslyn Bhatt, a long time friend of Dream Valley, who graciously shares her wonderful ponies with our little riders. Mimi's favourite passtime is showing with her owner's grandaughter, Alyssa, in the walk-trot ring, as she always seems to have a little extra "pep in her step" with Alyssa on her back!
Robin Reynolds founded Dream Valley Ranch in 2008 after seeing the need for horse boarding facilities in the area that prioritized the needs of the horses first, providing outdoor board on large pastures where horses could simply be horses. She brings over 35 years of experience working in the equine industry and a lifetime of being involved with horses. While Robin has moved off property, Kaitlyn and Cassandra have taken on the full-time operation of the farm. However, she visits the farm frequently and maintains a mentorship role in the business.
Robin's daughter, Kaitlyn Reynolds has taken over the day to day operations of the farm. She provides daily care to all of our horses. This includes daily handling of all the horses, who she comes to know as well as her own horses. Kaitlyn has been operating the farm as barn manager for 4 years now and dedicates each and every day to providing outstanding care to all the animals that call Dream Valley home. Kaitlyn also Co-Directs the rider development program at DVR and brings over 10 years of experience to her coaching. She teaches 7 days a week from beginners all the way up to seasoned dressage/hunter riders. She also teaches our adult riders during the daytime, providing them a foundation in dressage to build confidence in the saddle, no matter the age. Kaitlyn's approach focuses on teaching riders how to better both themselves and their equine partners by focusing on foundational flatwork.
Kaitlyn's twin sister, Cassandra Clark, also co-directs the rider development program at DVR. Cassandra is an Ontario Certified Teacher, with 10 years experience coaching. She offers instruction in both English and French. Cassandra has experience working with children with disabilities as well as those on the autism spectrum both in the classroom and on horseback. Cassandra also organizes all the events here at DVR including our summer camps, banquets, community building events and care home visits.
Apollo is a thoroughbred gelding and an accomplished show horse. He routinely carries our older riders around the hunter ring, known for his bounding stride and stunning lead changes. Apollo is so eager to please and his disposition is kind and affectionate. Apollo loves to perform and has carried many riders to year end champion in the hunter over fences in local schooling series. Apollo also enjoys teaching riders the foundations of dressage. He is a special boy who we are lucky to share with our riders!
Another barn favourite, Marcel is a percheron gelding who stands at 17 hands tall. He is the epitome of a "Gentle Giant". Though he is a big boy, he carries some of our smallest riders on his back. Marcel is slow, quiet and gentle. He has a smooth gait for teaching riders to take their first steps at trot and is working towards cantering in the ring with novice riders- as it is hard for his big body to canter in our small ring! Marcel is safe, reliable and irreplaceable in our program and we are lucky to have added such a cool addition to our team!
"Lady Godiva"
"Prince William"

Salvador is the horse that never lets you fall, he will always use his neck to catch you when he gives that extra big jump! Salvador has retired from regular lessons, however he continues to be used for therapy rides as well as care home visits with seniors as he loves being a teacher. Salvador is named "My Saving Grace" in honour of all the kids he has brought confidence and reassurence to in the saddle.
Shelby is our newest schoolie! She is 19 year old quarter horse mare known around the farm as the "barbie dream horse". Her palomino coat will ensure she quickly becomes a barn favourite. She is quiet and kind and we look forward to our riders growing a relationship with sweet Shelby this coming year!
"Ollie Ollie Oxen Free"
Ollie is a 10 year old standardbred quarter horse gelding. He has experience eventing to the preliminary level as well as working through his dressage levels. He comes to the Dream Valley team this year, full of talent and potential, and we cannot wait for our students to get to know this happy go lucky guy inside and outside of the saddle!
Willie is a welsh pony gelding known for his cheeky personality and willingness to learn! Willie belongs to Heather Morrison of Morstar Equine, who has graciously shared her pony with our riding program. Willie teaches all levels of riders and has, in recent years, become a competent jumper after learning to jump courses this past summer. Willie stuns in the show ring (after a lot of bathing) as he is cute as a button! He is patient with just the right amount of sass to do what ponies do best- build confident and capable riders! He is the barn favourite of many youngsters in the program!
"Sam I Am"
Friday is a thoroughbred gelding who entered our program this year. Friday is learning the basics of dressage and working on building up his strength to compete in his first show season this year under our more senior riders. While Friday is sweet, calm and willing, he is new to schoolie life and is learning the ropes under many of our seasoned riders! He is thriving in our school as he progresses in his training and we are excited to watch him grow in the show ring this year! Friday is owned and graciously shared with DVR by our cousin, Brooke.
